What would you get if John Lee Hooker quarantined with Kraftwerk? Possibly Jim Keller's mix of industrial blues and menace. Keller is known as a member of Bay Area band Tommy Tutone, co-writing and performing the 80's power-pop classic "867-5309" ("Jenny Jenny"). After Tommy Tutone's success, Keller came to New York to direct Dunvagen Music, Philip Glass's publishing company. Since 2009, Keller has released four solo albums including his latest for 2021 By No Means, and headlined residencies at legendary NYC venues Lakeside Lounge and Rockwood Music Hall, known and beloved for earnest energy and epic singalongs.
