Worth Rises: Dismantling the Prison Industry
Every year, the U.S. spends more than $80 billion to incarcerate people, perpetuating harm and trauma particularly in Black, Brown, and low-income communities. Join Worth Rises Executive Director Bianca Tylek, Hartford-based community advocate Diane Lewis, and Jewu Richardson, the Co-Director of the Connecticut Bail Fund, for a discussion about how to heal a broken system.
